Police have arrested the last person in a suspected shoplifting ring that police say swiped $9,000 in merchandise from a Myrtle Beach boutique.
Pamela Moorefield, 43, of Myrtle Beach, is in the Charleston County detention center on charges unrelated to the thefts in Myrtle Beach.
Charleston County picked up Moorefield this past week on separate shoplifting charges, and she's also wanted by the Mt. Pleasant Police Department on a shoplifting charge.
Moorefield will be transferred to Myrtle Beach and charged with shoplifting, more than $5,000 in value, police said.
Myrtle Beach detectives said Moorefield, her daughter Kayla Moorefield and Lee Bryant shoplifted more than $9,000 in goods from Dixie Divas at the Market Common. The shoplifting happened on January 20, 2010.
Bryant surrendered the week after a NewsChannel 15 viewer helped police identify Bryant in surveillance video that aired on NewsChannel 15.
Police arrested Kayla Moorefield several days later.
