Police say someone intentionally drove a stolen car into a Darlington pawn shop and stole merchandise inside.

It happened around 5:00 Sunday morning at the South Main Street Pawn Shop in Darlington.

Captain Danny Watson with Darlington Police tells us officers got there within minutes but the suspects were gone.

Watson says they did get some physical evidence from the scene.

Police tell us damage to the business is close to $10,000.

If you have any information on the crime, you're asked to call Darlington Police at (843) 398-4028.
