MB councilman decides not to run for 1st District seat

Myrtle Beach City Councilman Randal Wallace held a news conference Wednesday morning, to announce he would not run for the 1st Congressional seat being vacated by Henry Brown.

Wallace said he had been urged to run by local Republicans, as well as business and community leaders.

Wallace was joined at his announcement by candidate Paul Thurmond, whom Wallace endorsed for the 1st Congressional seat.
