As lawmakers in Washington, DC debated the fate of the health care reform bill, folks in the Pee Dee received some insight on the possible overhaul.
Saturday, the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority sponsored a healthcare forum in Florence. The forum took place at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
The sorority group sponsored the event to enlighten the public on the health care bill.
The panelists included politicians, doctors, attorneys and medical insurance officials who fielded questions from the audience on the many aspects of the bill.
A representative from House Majority Whip, Congressman Jim Clyburn's office, was on hand to also answer questions.
NewsChannel 15's Tonya Brown served as the moderator for Saturday's forum.
