Alligator season is months away, but the Department of Natural Resources is getting ready now.
The DNR says you can't just find alligator capture equipment at your local sporting goods store, so the agency is working up a list of equipment vendors and processors.
You can find vendors on the internet, but the DNR wants hunters to know how to buy their gear locally and find in-state processors.
