Horry County Police officers say they caught a burglary suspect in the act on March 12 and have linked him to twelve other burglaries.
28-year-old Ryan Cope is charged with 13 counts of Burglary 2nd Degree.
In recent months, there have been several residential burglaries in the Magnolia Pointe Community in Horry County.
Detectives with the Horry County Police Department's Property Crimes Section have been investigating these burglaries since the first one occurred.
On Friday, detectives were in the area canvassing when they saw a man go into a condo. The man came out of the unit with a flat screen television and laptop computer, placed the items in his truck and began to leave.
Detectives say the stopped the truck and identified the man as Ryan Cope. Police say Cope made unlawful entry into the condo and removed property not belonging to him.
Further investigation has linked Cope to an additional twelve burglaries that happened in the community.
