Crews battle brush fire in Georgetown County

Firefighters were busy overnight fighting a woods fire in the Maryvile area of Georgetown.

The fire, which was reported at about 7 p.m., was off of Mary Pines Place in the area of Prince George Nursing Center, said City Assistant Fire Chief Bill Johnson. No one was hurt, and no home were damaged.
