Today Dillon School District 2 announced they've received $35.8 million in loans and $4 million in grants under the federal stimulus program.

$24 of those dollars will be used to re-build J.V. Martin Junior High School.

District Officials did not announce a specific timeline as to when construction will begin on the new school.

They released the attached picture of what they hope the school will eventually look like.

Today district workers were also honored for their work to secure funding.
