(AP) -- Campground operations and marketing are on the agenda on the South Carolina coast this week as the Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds meets.
About 75 campground owners and managers from the two states gather in Myrtle Beach on Sunday for the three-day meeting which is lso a trade show for the group.
One of the topics will be trends in the camping business.
Tourism in South Carolina pumps an estimated $18 billion into the state economy each year. The meeting is being held at the Lakewood Camping Resort, which has more than 1,100 campsites and which the owners say is one of the largest RV campgrounds in the world.
