CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Officials say no more evacuation flights from Haiti are expected to arrive in South Carolina now that airports in the Caribbean nation are reopening.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reports that since Feb. 4, a total of 22 flights have landed in Charleston bringing 992 American citizens home.

The last flight was last week.  Derrec Becker of the state Emergency Management Division says no more flights are expected at this time.

But he says there is room for more if needed.

He says the cost of the operation hasn't been figured yet, but he says the federal government is expected to reimburse state and local agencies.
