(AP) -- COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - The Army has been looking for two months into allegations that soldiers at a base in South Carolina were being poisoned, but a spokesman says no credible information to support the allegations has been found.
Army spokesman Lt. Col. Christopher Garver said Thursday the investigation was being conducted at Fort Jackson, located outside Columbia, for the past two months.
Garver says the investigation has been handled by the Army's Criminal Investigative Service.
The Army spokesman says he is unaware of any arrests that have been made in connection with the investigation.
Garver says there has not been any credible information found to substantiate the allegations.
