NEWBERRY, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina authorities are looking for a man who is tattooing young people in their homes without their parents' permission.

Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster says 25-year-old Jesus Lopez doesn't have a license and has given at least five people under age 21 tattoos without their parents knowing.

Both are against the law.

Foster says at least two of the people who got tattoos from Lopez have also come down with staph infections, which could cause serious complications if not treated immediately.

Tattooing someone under 21 without a parents' OK and tattooing without a license are both misdemeanors with a maximum punishment of up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine.
