Today, Carolinas Hospital System joined the American Heart Association in celebrating "Go Red For Women," a day set aside to encourage heart health in women and bring awareness to heart issues for women.

The cakes where judged on best "Go Red' theme, most creative, best flavor and best of show.

Community leaders, visitors, volunteers and employees supported today's events which also included free blood pressure checks, heart health education information and healthy cooking demonstrations.
