WALTERBORO, S.C. (AP) -- Three men killed when a truck crashed into a van in South Carolina have been identified.

Colleton County Coroner Richard Harvey said Thursday that 22-year-old Paul Vasquez Serrano, 59-year-old Agustin Garcia Luna and 23-year-old Esteban Alvarado Rivera died of multiple injuries caused by the wreck. All three lived in Walterboro.

Highway Patrol Cpl. Paul Brouthers said Wednesday's crash happened when the passenger van pulled out in front of a tractor trailer hauling wood chips on U.S. 601 about 15 miles east of Allendale.

Six others were injured in the wreck.

Colleton Medical Center vice president Sandy Bynum says the van's driver, 27-year-old Bernardo Lopez-Hernandez of Walterboro, was in good condition.

The others' conditions were unavailable.
