Tuesday, lawmakers head back to Columbia for the start of the 118th session of the South Carolina General Assembly.
Research officials at the State House tell us there are 239 pre-filled bills between the House and Senate. Legislators say their primary focus will be balancing the budget.
They face a deficit of more than $560 million.
Lawmakers say they could make cuts across the board for all state agencies or target specific agencies.
