Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff's Office are investigating a fatal shooting that happened around 11:30 Sunday night in the parking lot of a motel located at 3783 West Lucas Street.
The sheriff's office says Marcus Weaver, age 24, of Lake City died from gunshot wounds.
Josh Carraway, age 22, of Darlington was also wounded, but the sheriff's office says it appears his wounds are not life threatening.
Investigators believe that the incident was drug related, and are looking for a silver Mercury automobile which may have been involved in the incident.

The shooting happened on West Lucas Street just before 4:00am.
Deputies on scene tell us one man was shot and is in serious condition.
We're waiting to hear from investigators to get more details.
