Temporary jobs are available for those wanting to work for the 2010 Census. Recruiters say they'll start calling people to work in January, with more jobs added in the spring.
In order to be eligible for the jobs, you need to take a test. There are several testing sites in Horry County
*Tuesday, 12/22 at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. OR 6:00 p.m. At Everyday Bingo (Bingo Plaza is located on Hwy 9 in Longs, directly across from Colonial Charters subdivision)
*Wednesday, 12/23, 10:00 a.m. At Little River United Methodist Church (located at the intersection of Hwy 17 and Mineola Ave)
*Wednesday 12/30, 2:00 p.m. At Apache Family Campground in Myrtle Beach (located at the corner of Kings Road & Lake Arrowhead Road in the restaurant row area)
You will complete a job application and take a 28-question, multiple choice basic skills test.
Bring either a current passport for identification, or TWO other forms of ID, such as your Driver's License AND Social Security card.
