Several inmates at the Georgetown County Detention Center spent a few hours outside of their prison cells Sunday to visit with their children and family.

The program was part of the Georgetown County Sheriff's Department Reentry Program which is designed to help rehabilitate inmates as they prepare for release from prison.

There was plenty of food, a visit from Santa and dozens of toys for the inmates' children.

Several organizations, including the Toys for Tots program, helped with Sunday's event.
