A Grand Strand taxi company and two beverage distributors are working together to make sure you have a safe ride during the holidays if you have to much to drink.
Beachside and Diamond taxis along with the Yahnis Company and Better Brands will offer free sober rides home. You can reach a safe ride at 843-222-2222 or 843-448-8888.
You'll have to ask the bartender to make the phone call for you, and you must prove you drove there. The companies say this is a free, safe ride home, not to another bar.
The service is from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day.
