The Horry County School District took the next step in its investigation of a middle school teacher accused of having sex with an eighth grade student.
School officials say they have seized Norbert Ryan's classroom computer and are investigating its contents, though they haven't revealed what they've found so far.
Ryan, an eighth grade social studies teacher and football coach at St. James Middle School, is charged with criminal sexual conduct after allegedly having an ongoing sexual relationship with a 13-year-old student.
He posted bond from J. Reuben Long Detention Center and is not allowed on school grounds.
