You can help some less fortunate college hopefuls in the community by enjoying a nice dinner and entertainment by a Tony Award-winning performer.
The 17th Annual UNCF, Florence salute to education Gala is Friday night and Jennifer Holiday will perform.
The dinner will be held at the Florence Civic Center starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
All money raised will benefit 8,000 students attending UNCF's five member colleges and universities in our area.
