Man dies in house fire in Hartsville

Police in Hartsville are investigating fatal house fire.

Hartsville Fire Chief Bill Heathman says a home on James Avenue went up in flames just after 11:00am Wednesday. He says a man inside the home died.

Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says an autopsy is scheduled to be done on the victim Thursday morning. He won't release the name until he gets the results of the autopsy.
