Employment officials in Marion County say a company that recently located there has already started hiring workers.
Softee Supreme Diaper Corporation of Georgia intends to hire 260 people to work at its facility in Mullins. Officials at the Marion County Employment Security Commission office say many of the new hires started work Monday.
They say Softee Supreme will begin hiring more workers in about three weeks.
