The National Golf Foundation President Dr. Joe Beditz is presenting the results of two surveys on the Myrtle Beach golf market this morning.

The meeting is going on at the Crown Reef Conference Center in Myrtle Beach.

The NGF provides information and insights on the business of golf.  Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday commissioned the NGF surveys with an emphasis on providing a broader look at the golf industry, national and regional travel trends and the Myrtle Beach area's share of the golf travel segment.

Among the topics Dr. Beditz will discuss:  a snapshot of the overall golf industry, Myrtle Beach's market share in the golf industry, the outlook for golf travel over the next 18 months, and the strengths and weaknesses of Myrtle Beach as a golf destination.

We have a crew at the meeting and will have more details later today here on CarolinaLive.com and tonight on NewsChannel 15 at 6 & 7.
