Horry County prosecutors will also begin their case against a man accused of killing his five-week old daughter.
Mylee Grace Ferguson died in July of 2007 while on vacation with her family in Myrtle Beach.
Police have said her injuries were consistent with shaken baby syndrome.
Prosecutors say the infant had severe brain damage.
Mylee's father, Miles Ferguson, is charged with homicide by child abuse.
We're told more than 100 supporters from Ferguson's hometown in Ohio are expected to be in town for the trial.
Opening arguments should be after lunchtime Monday.
