(AP) -- The gubernatorial election in South Carolina might be a year away, but the hopefuls for the Palmetto State's top office are gearing up.
This Tuesday, one year before the 2010 election, 10 candidates for governor will share the stage in a joint debate that will be televised statewide on E-TV.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will host the five democrats and five republicans and will discuss issues surrounding the state's natural resources -- from conservation to economic development.
The E-TV broadcast begins at 8:00 pm this Tuesday.
