CAYCE, S.C. (AP) -- A grass-roots group representing South Carolina farmers is talking about how climate change legislation could affect their industry.

Farm Bureau officials are meeting at the organization's South Carolina headquarters in Cayce on Tuesday.

American Farm Bureau Federation President Bob Stallman and South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation President David Winkles are set to address farmer concerns over proposed federal climate change legislation.

The groups say reducing greenhouse gas emissions is important but say the bills currently being considered by Congress aren't the best way.
