A Florence man will spend nearly three decades in prison for shooting a cab driver.
Last February, the 53 year old cabbie was picking up someone up on Waverly Avenue in Florence, when police say three teenagers ambushed him inside the car, robbed him, and shot him twice. He now walks with a cane.
Thursday morning, Aries Brown pleaded guilty to shooting and robbing the driver.
A judge sentenced him to 27 years in prison.
Two other men are waiting to be tried in this case.
