Some high school students ran into an unexpected sight as they walked out of school Thursday: an alligator.
The gator made it's way on to the Georgetown High School campus sometime before school let out Thursday.
A school resource officer spotted it and animal control was called in to remove the gator.
Officials think it made its way to the school from a nearby pond.
