Permission slips are already going home to some parents as public schools get ready to begin offering the H1N1 vaccination through the Department of Health.

The letter explains how the process will work when the shots are given next month in Georgetown County.

The shots are free to students and parents can be there when students get the shots.

Children under ten need two doses of the vaccine, so a follow-up shots will be offered later in the year.
