GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Those who want to work at the BMW plant in South Carolina have another shot at a job.

The Greenville News reported a placement company is holding a job fair in Greenville on Tuesday for the approximately 700 jobs BMW is adding.

Tier One Solutions is holding the event at the state Employment Security Commission in Greenville.

Officials say so many people showed up at a job fair last week they were unable to interview everyone hoping to work at the Greer plant.

A job fair also has been held in Spartanburg.

BMW spokesman Bobby Hitt says increased demand prompted the company to add a shifts.

Positions will pay $13 an hour for day shift and $14 an hour for night shift work and include benefits.

The plant builds X5 sports activity vehicles and X6 sports activity coupes.
