(AP) -- COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina education officials are inviting residents to review math books proposed for public schools and offer their opinions.
The state education board is set to approve textbooks and other material for algebra, geometry and technology classes on Dec. 9. The recommended books are on display through Nov. 8 at 23 private
and public colleges across the state.
Each display includes evaluation forms for residents to fill out. State board members will review the comments before voting. The board's duties include approving which textbooks and other
classroom materials teachers can use.
