(AP) -- A blind South Carolina pedestrian has been killed after walking in a road and being struck by a sport utility vehicle.
The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reported that Larry Maurice Adamson of Spartanburg died Saturday morning not far from his home.
Authorities say the driver has not been charged.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Kathy Hiles says the accident remains under investigation.
