(AP) -- South Carolina authorities say a soldier at Fort Jackson has died during training.
Multiple media outlets reported that Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said the 20-year-old soldier died about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Providence Hospital in Columbia.
Watts said Thursday an autopsy has been performed but he is awaiting test results to determine how the soldier died. He did not release the soldier's name or hometown.
Two other soldiers at the fort died this summer.
Twenty-three-year-old Spc. Christopher Hogg of Deltona, Fla., died Sept. 10 from pneumonia complicated by the H1N1 virus. He was the military's first swine flu victim.
Eighteen-year-old Pvt. Jonathan Morales of Milwaukee died Aug. 20 from apparent heatstroke while participating in a march just days before he was to graduate from basic training.
