A Dillon County man is recovering after a group of men fired several shots at his car while he and two others were in it.

At the intersection of Highway 9 west and Harless Ridge Road just before 2:00am Sunday morning.

Dillon County Sheriff's deputies tell NewsChannel 15 that when the victim stopped at a stop sign, three men began firing shots at his car, unloading ten rounds of bullets into the car.

We're told he was struck in the side, but two passengers in the car -- including a seven-year-old girl were uninjured.

There are no suspects in custody. If you have any information, you're asked to call the Dillon County Sheriff's Office at (843) 841-3721.
