One in custody after bank robbery in Georgetown

The FBI confirms that Georgetown police have one person in custody after a bank robbery Thursday morning on Front Street in Georgetown.

The FBI says the suspect is not federally charged at this time, so they cannot comment on the case. We are told Georgetown police have state charges against the suspect.

We are waiting for a call back from Georgetown police for further details.

A bank robbery occurred a short time ago on Front Street in Georgetown.

Few details are being released at this time. The FBI has confirmed that someone robbed the First Citizens Bank on Front Street.

It is not clear if the suspect is in custody.
