Patrick Golden, a 5th grader at St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City, was recognized Wednesday for winning the Knights of Columbus International Free Throw Competition.
Golden sunk 21 out of 25 free throws during the competition, and now he has a huge trophy to prove it. "It makes me feel pretty good because I've gotten a lot of trophies, but this is the biggest one I've ever gotten," said Golden.
The award was presented in the school's gymnasium in front of all the students.
