A man charged with killing a Florence County couple has now been hit with an arson charge.
Montez Barker is charged with murder in the deaths of Talya Poston and her boyfriend Billy Hall, Junior, earlier this month. Deputies say he along with two others conspired to kill the couple.
Barker is now charged with 3rd degree arson. Deputies say he set fire to an SUV used in the killings to keep them from finding it. Wednesday morning, a magistrate judge set Barker's bail at $25,000 on the arson charge.
He remains in jail without bond, though, for the murder charge.
