South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson is still feeling the heat after his outburst during President Barack Obama's health care speech several weeks ago. But he's also still receiving support.
Both supporters and opponents of Rep. Wilson made their voices and opinions heard at a town rally he attended in Aiken this weekend.
It's estimated around 200 people turned out for the rally.
The congressman has apologized for yelling "you lie" to the president during President Obama's speech, but emotions are still running high.
Those in support and opposition were heard arguing back and forth in Aiken during the rally.
"It's not white power, it's not black power, its right power, Joe Wilson was wrong, and that's the only reason I'm here," said one woman who opposes Rep. Wilson.
"And he apologized," countered a supporter.
"It's over," exclaimed one woman.
"No, it's not old news... the same politics are being perpetuated it's not over," said another woman.
Rep. Wilson, the South Carolina Republican, attended the rally.
He said, "I know people have been, they understand that the proper way for any gentlemen is, right place, right time, you apologize, and then you get to the issue."
