Horry County Council Chairman Liz Gilland has paid fines on 3 traffic tickets, after the state Department of Motor Vehicles suspended her license.
Central traffic court in Horry County confirms Gilland paid $440.00 in fines for 3 tickets she received in 2 separate incidents.
In March of 2009, Gilland received a speeding ticket. In May of 2009 Gilland received two tickets, one for not having a driver's license on her and the other for having an expired license.
We have placed a call to Chairman Gilland for comment. We'll post her response as soon as we speak with her.
