NewsChannel 15 has learned Marlboro County zoning officials will not reconsider a decision to keep a mega dump from locating in the county.
Three weeks ago, the county planning commission voted against rezoning land in the northern part of the county for the facility.
The owners of the mega dump then filed a request with the zoning appeals board for a special use permit regarding the land, which would override the planning commission's vote.
That was denied.
