It is the United Way Day of Caring in Horry County, as more than 200 volunteers fan out throughout the Grand Strand area to complete community service projects.
The event started at 8:00am Friday morning, with a breakfast at 7:45 am Arrival of Volunteers at the Grand Strand Senior Center on 21st Avenue N. in Myrtle Beach.
At 9:00am the volunteers heading to the following locations to put their skills to work: Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach, Pee Dee Speech & Hearing, and Boys & Girls Club of Grand Strand.
The United Way Day of Caring is the kick off to the agency's annual fundraising campaign.
