As the wars drag on overseas, more and more american men and women are becoming veterans.
There's a local group who wants to help those men and women. Saturday they held a fundraiser and tried to bring a little awareness to their organization.
It's called the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center.
They opened in May of this year in Little River.
The founder says Sunday's event helps raise money that can help any veteran who asks.
