9/11 events continue Saturday

On Saturday, the 8th Annual Pee Dee Patriotic Parade will happen in downtown Florence. It will follow the usual parade route down West Evans street from Edisto drive to the center of downtown. The parade starts at 11 a.m.

On the Grand Strand, Freestyle Music Park will host the Grand Strand Freedom Festival Saturday. The event is organized by BOOST, Business Owners Organized to Support Tourism. Annual pass holders can get in free. For more information, click here. Here are the schedule events:

-Patriotic Parade- 1 p.m. (featuring America's Wounded Heroes, local high school bands and other veteran, police, fire and rescue oriented motorcycle organazations.

-Afternoon concerts 2-6:30 p.m.

-LeeAnn Rimes Concert 8 p.m.
