A Bennettsville man who investigators say held them at bay in a 28 hour standoff is likely to plead guilty to the crime.
Last December, police say Brian Brand refused to let his former girlfriend leave her home in Bennettsville.
Before he held her against her will, deputies say Brand shot her sister in the leg.
She survived and managed to leave the home.
Brand is a convicted felon and isn't allowed to carry a gun.
NewsChannel 15 has learned a plea agreement has been reached in Brand's federal case and he is expected to appear in court Thursday morning.
