Myrtle Beach Beach Patrol kept swimming at ankle-deep again on Sunday because of the continued high risk of rip currents.
Red flags flew for the second day this weekend, as visitors wrapped up last-minute vacations on the Grand Strand.
Beach Patrol officers reported no problems over the weekends and no water rescues were reported.
Farther north in North Myrtle Beach, the swimming wasn't quite as restrictive, as beach officers there allowed people to go waist-deep.
Patrick Brafford with NMB Beach Patrol reported five water rescues on Saturday, but no one was hurt.
The National Weather Service has placed the Grand Strand under a high risk for rip currents at least through 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
