The Loris-Seacoast Healthcare Foundation held their 2009 Foundation Ball at the Lakeside Conference Center at Barefoot Resort.
The event raises money for the non-profit foundation that serves the north Strand area of Horry County and southern Brunswick and Columbus counties in North Carolina.
Many local businesses pooled together to make the event possible and state Representative Tracy Edge secured $2 million from the state for the foundation.
NewsChannel 15's own Ed Piotrowski was the celebrity auctioneer and money raised from the auction also benefited Loris-Seacost Healthcare and it was all at no cost to the foundation.
