Horry County police announced Monday, the arrest of 45-year-old Kim Keels Nelson on charges of Trafficking Cocaine 2nd Offense (2 counts), Possession of Schedule IV Pills, Possession of Schedule III Pills, and Simple Possession of Marijuana.
Police say in July, the department's Narcotics and Vice Section initiated an investigation as a result of reports of narcotics sales being conducted at an address on Canal Dr. in the Garden City section of Horry County.
During the investigation, detectives say they bought approximately 56.4 grams of cocaine, along with 11 Xanax tablets and 6 Loracet tablets. As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed on the home last Thursday. During the search warrant, police say they seized approximately 19 grams of marijuana and $450.
