CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Golfers will tee off at a coastal South Carolina course to raise money for local Boys & Girls Clubs.

Organizers say the fifth annual Edward Jones Golf Tournament will start at noon Friday at the Harbor Course at Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms. The course borders the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.

All profits go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Trident Area, to help run after-school programs in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties. The clubs serve more than 1,800 students between ages 6 and 18.

Items in a silent auction to be held after the golf game will include local helicopter tours.
