Ten rushed to hospital following collision

At least ten people are in the hospital after a taxi cab collided with an adult day care van.

Highway Patrol says it happened just before 4pm Tuesday on Marion Street, outside of Mullins.

Troopers say the driver of the taxi cab crossed the center line, crashing head on into the adult day care bus.

The drivers of the taxi and bus, as well as eight passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital.

Officials say at least two people had to be airlifted to Columbia.

Highway Patrol is on the scene investigating what happened
